KIT LUBOLD

Producer | Writer | Production Consultant
President, Mountaintop Holdings LLC
Executive Overview

Kit Lubold is a producer, writer, and strategic production consultant with over two decades of experience across feature film production and post-production. As President of Mountaintop Holdings LLC, he leads U.S. and international co-productions, production consulting engagements, and post-production infrastructure strategy for projects ranging from independent features to large-scale studio films.

Throughout his career, Lubold has worked across productions spanning $1M independent films to $150M studio tentpoles. His background bridges both creative and technical leadership, with hands-on experience in writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and post-production supervision. He has built and managed post-production facilities across Los Angeles, Montreal, London, and other global markets.

A member of the Producers Guild of America and an MBA graduate of Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, Lubold is known for aligning creative ambition with operational precision, helping productions move from script through delivery on schedule and on budget.

Selected Work

Lubold served as U.S. Co-Producer and Post-Production Lead on the Swedish–U.S. co-production A-Men to That, released theatrically in Sweden. Through Mountaintop Holdings LLC, he oversaw U.S.-based production across Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles and personally guided the project through post-production and delivery.

During post, complex conform and versioning challenges led Lubold to design and implement a proprietary automation system to manage editorial data and reduce manual bottlenecks. That system later evolved into SpliceGeist™, a modular post-production automation platform publicly debuting at the NAB Show 2026.

Production & Advisory Work

In addition to producing, Lubold provides production consulting and C-suite advisory services to film productions and post-production companies. His work includes workflow design, virtual production planning, VFX pipeline integration, and delivery compliance for major streaming platforms. He is frequently invited to speak on industry panels addressing post-production best practices and production efficiency.
